U-20 AFCON Flying Eagles to face Benin Republic, South Sudan in friendlies. Before the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will play friendlies against South Sudan and the Benin Republic.
The two exhibition games will be place in Morocco.
On Wednesday (today), Ladan Bosso’s team is anticipated to take a flight from Accra, Ghana, to Morocco for a pre-competition training visit.
However, the two games’ times and locations are still up for debate.
In a friendly match last week, the Flying Eagles overcame Zambia, another country headed to the AFCON, 4-2.
Among the 12 nations vying for the U-20 AFCON championship in 2023 are South Sudan and the Benin Republic.
Group A includes the Flying Eagles together with the hosts Egypt, Mozambique, and Senegal.
