Cole said this after Mbappe’s superb showing in PSG’s 2-1 victory over Juventus on Wednesday in the Champions League group stage.
Given his talent, he asserts that the 23-year-old France international is capable of ‘anything,’ adding that he is capable of feats that no other player is.
Keep in mind that Mbappe scored a goal as PSG defeated Juventus in Turin.
Cole stated on BT Sport: “[Mbappe] He’s so explosive, he’s without a doubt the most exciting player in world football right now. He has the speed and power to do things that no other player can do, and I adore him for it.
“I believe it’s a fantastic comparison between R9 and Henry since he is a hybrid; that’s a huge praise. He can do anything, what a player, if he remains healthy, which is a big if, and keeps going the way he is.
Mbappe has led PSG in goals scored so far this season with 18 across all competitions.
