According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea isn’t currently engaged in negotiations with Serie A titleholders Napoli for Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen is reportedly in discussions for a new contract at Napoli, anticipated to feature a release clause valued at approximately €130m.
Despite this development, Chelsea remains keen on securing the Nigerian striker, viewing him as an experienced target for their squad.
In his Daily Briefing, Romano stated, “Osimhen is among the players on Chelsea’s radar. However, there haven’t been significant talks or agreements established with the striker or any other player.”
The 24-year-old forward has displayed promising form, registering seven goals across 12 league appearances for Napoli in the current season.
