U-20 AFCON Egypt unlucky in defeat to Flying Eagles – Gaber. Mahmoud Gaber, the head coach of the Young Pharaohs of Egypt, asserted that his team’s loss against the Nigerian Flying Eagles on Wednesday night was the result of bad luck.
The Flying Eagles defeated the hosts 1-0 at the Cairo International Stadium.
To win the match, the Flying Eagles withstood an early North African storm.
Chijoke Anigboso, the goalie, made three saves for Gaber’s team in the second half.
According to Gaber, who was reported by CAFonline, “We lost several opportunities and if we were focused, we would have settled the match in our favor.”
On Saturday, the Young Pharaohs will play Mozambique in their last group match.
