Transfer: Sancho to leave Man Utd for former club

Borussia Dortmund is reportedly open to the possibility of bringing Jadon Sancho back from Manchester United in the January transfer window, as reported by ESPN. While Dortmund has publicly denied interest in re-signing their former player, it is believed that they would consider it if the financial terms are favorable.

A short-term loan for Sancho until the end of the season is the most likely scenario, but Dortmund would require Manchester United to contribute to his substantial £300,000-a-week wage.

Jadon Sancho spent four years at Borussia Dortmund from 2017 to 2021 and maintains a connection with their coach, Edin Terzic.

Manchester United is reportedly open to offers for Sancho in the January transfer window, and they are prepared to support their manager, Erik ten Hag, who has taken a strong stance on squad discipline.

Sancho has not featured for Manchester United since August after being excluded from the squad as a consequence of publicly disputing Ten Hag’s reasons for dropping him for a match against Arsenal on September 3.
