EPL Peter Crouch blames one Chelsea player after 2-1 loss to Fulham. Peter Crouch, a former Liverpool striker, has accused Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga of contributing to Fulham’s second goal in their Premier League match on Thursday.

On addition to losing 2-1 on Thursday, Chelsea’s new acquisition Joao Felix was given a red card and a three-match suspension in his debut for the Blues.

The second goal by Fulham was a sad point since Kepa was unable to save Carlo Vinicius’s free header following an excellent cross from Andreas Pereira because he was trapped in a no-man’s-land.

Kepa lingered in between, failing to fully extend himself to capture the ball or stay on his line to stop Vinicius’ header, and was quickly overpowered.

“Kepa made a terrible mistake. It’s a difficult header for Vinicius if he remains on his line, but he’s given himself an open goal, Crouch told BT Sports.

“You have to come all the way, even if Kepa decides to come out.”
