Shaqiri told reporters after practice on Sunday, “You cannot write off Cristiano, he is one of the finest players in the world along with Messi.
“This man has the experience and everyone understands how essential he is for Portugal and for his team. He can score at any second or minute.”
Portugal vs. Switzerland will begin at 8 p.m.
