After Thursday’s 1-0 Europa League victory over Real Sociedad by the Red Devils, Fernandes criticized Garnacho, stating the young player lacked the proper mindset.
Garnacho put up a strong display and gave United the victory in Spain.
This season, the 18-year-old has seldom played for United, and Fernandes claimed he has a very negative attitude.
When questioned about Fernandes’ remarks, Sutton responded to BT Sport by saying: “Totally needless.
“I believe that harmony is the message Erik ten Hag wishes to convey via Manchester United.
