U-20 AFCON Flying Eagles going for victory against Egypt – Bosso. Ladan Bosso, the head coach of the Flying Eagles, believes that Egypt will be defeated by his side in their Group A matchup at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations on Wednesday.
The seven-time winners’ season got off to a sad start when they lost 1-0 to the Senegalese Cubs.
The Flying Eagles could be eliminated from the competition after losing to the Young Pharaohs in the group stage.
Moreover, the squad would not be able to compete in the Indonesia 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Bosso stated that his men are prepared for the challenge ahead and would give it their all while facing the Egyptians.
Bosso told reporters, “We as coaches have to elevate the spirit of the players. The morale was low after the first game, but I want everybody to know that the spirit is extremely high.
“I don’t believe that losing the first game is something that cannot be changed; in fact, I think it was better that we lost early rather than later.”
Around six o’clock Nigerian time, the game in Cairo International Stadium will begin.
