Revelation Cup Super Falcons boss, Waldrum rues defeat to Mexico. Randy Waldrum, the head coach of the Super Falcons, is certain that his team will grow from their most recent loss against Mexico.
After losing 1-0 to the hosts Mexico in their opening match in the four-nation invitational competition known as the Revelation Cup on Thursday morning, the former African champions extended their losing record to six games.
Five minutes before the end, Kiana Palacios scored the winning goal for Mexico.
“For us, it’s a learning process. It was a chance to experiment with new things. New strategies, too,” Waldrum stated following the game.
Despite their dominance in the final 20 minutes of the first half, “we started the game strongly.
“Conceding late in any game is always frustrating. We’ll take what we can from this setback and get ready for our next contest.
On Saturday, the Super Falcons’ second match in the competition will be against Colombia.
