Onyekuru resumes training with Adana Demirspor after injury

Onyekuru resumes training with Adana Demirspor after injury. After a brief absence from training, Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru is back with Turkish Super Lig club Adana Demirspor.

Onyekuru returned to Adana Demirspor full training on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old was signed by the Blue Lightnings in the summer on a season-long loan from Olympiacos of the Greek Super League.

In 12 league games for the team this season, the former Everton player has four goals and two assists.

Due to the injury, Onyekuru was unable to participate in Nigeria’s international friendly match against Algeria in September.

With 24 points after 13 games, Adana Demirspor is third in the Super Lig standings, five points off the lead held by Fenerbache.
