The outcome allowed the Owena Waves to continue their pursuit of their first Nigeria Premier Football League championship.
Agoye, who assumed leadership of the club at the beginning of the season, was pleased with their success thus far.
Agoye told DAILY POST, “I must applaud the players for their performance during the first portion of the season.
“This win is really significant to us.
As the second part of the season starts, it will enable us to press harder, he remarked.
After the final encounter of matchday nine on Monday, the NPFL will take a break.
On March 25, the 2022–23 season will pick back up.
