Manchester City Football Group (CFG) Have Acquired A Majority Stake In Italian Club Palermo. Palermo is CFG’s 12th entry to their portfolio and is currently playing in Serie B of Italy.
Their major priority is Manchester City, although other teams like New York City FC and Girona have benefited from their investments both on and off the field.
Ferran Soriano, the chief executive of CFG, has spoken about the acquisition and what they intend to offer going forward to the football team. Business Live quoted him as saying: “Palermo is a renowned and historic club with a strong and proud identity.
