Guardiola responded when asked if he was happy with his team’s performance in the Champions League and Carabao Cup, saying, “We might be league leaders, but Arsenal have been amazing.
“A member of my staff informed me that we had more points than we did at this time in the previous four seasons.
“We’ve done well, but the other team has done better,” we said.
But being close to the top of the Premier League is the major objective.
