Chelsea’s Aubameyang tells ex-teammates he wants to return to former club

Chelsea’s Aubameyang tells ex-teammates he wants to return to former club. Chelsea striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has reportedly told his former Barcelona teammates that he wants to return to Camp Nou in the summer.

As claimed by The Daily Mail, Aubameyang is keen on a return to the Blaugrana after enduring a season to forget at Chelsea.

Aubameyang joined Chelsea from Barcelona in a deal worth £10.3 million on transfer deadline day.

However, the Gabon international has found himself out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

Soon after joining the West London club, Chelsea parted ways with Thomas Tuchel and appointed Graham Potter, who didn’t fancy the former Arsenal captain.

Aubameyang was also left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad in January and has played just 879 minutes across competitions this term.

However, Barcelona do not view Aubameyang as a priority and have other players in their sights.

Meanwhile, Chelsea look almost destined to offload Aubameyang this summer and are interested in Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.
