NPFL Shooting Stars seek improved outing, ready for Akwa United testPrior to the start of the second half of the season, Abimbola Lawal, the assistant coach for the Shooting Stars, has guaranteed a better performance.
When the National Professional Football League resumes from the mid-season break this weekend, the Oluyole Warriors will play Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
According to Lawal, the squad has benefited and the level of competitiveness has grown due to the new hires’ high caliber.
When the league returns, “you should anticipate something excellent from us,” Lawal told DAILY POST.
“We are absolutely ready to go with the addition of the great players we already have on the club.”
Shooting Stars have nine points after nine games, which puts them in seventh place on the list.
