Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has commended the immediate impact of Victor Boniface at the club, expressing surprise at the Nigerian forward’s remarkable start.
Boniface notched his seventh assist of the season in Bayer Leverkusen’s recent 1-1 draw against VFB Stuttgart. Since joining the club in the summer, the 22-year-old has become a key contributor with 21 goal involvements, scoring 14 goals in 21 appearances across all competitions.
