NWFL 2022/23 season to kick-off November 30. On Wednesday, November 30, the 2022–23 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) will begin play.
In a letter sent to all teams on Friday, NWFL COO Modupe Shabi made the announcement of the date.
The same day will be used for every match on matchday one.
At the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, the defending champion Bayelsa Queens will begin defending their championship against the Rivers Angels.
Nasarawa Amazons, a past champion, and Edo Queens will square off at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi.
The game between Osun Babes and Royal Queens will be held at the Larry Leke Stadium.
At the Old Parade Ground, Naija Ratels and Heartland Queens will square off.
FC Robo Queens will continue their match with Abia Angels in the meantime.
The game between Adamawa Queens and Ibom Angels wraps off the schedule.
