BBTitans Organizers announce start date, grand prize, hosts. The Big Brother Titans reality series will premiere on January 15, 2023, according to a statement from MultiChoice Nigeria, the event’s organizer. The housemates will compete for the $100,000 cash prize in the show, which will be broadcast live on the DStv and GOtv channels.

The 72-day duration of the BBTitans edition was stated by MultiChoice CEO John Ugbe, who made the news on Thursday.

Popular BBNaija presenter Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Mzansi personality Lawrence Maleka will co-host the program.

Flutterwave, Bamboo, and Lotto Star are the sponsors of BB Titans, which will take place in South Africa.

“BBNaija and BB Mzansi, two TV phenomenon, are combined in this special episode. To provide African entertainment consumers a spectacle of tremendous drama unlike anything they have ever seen, we are putting roommates from two enormous countries, Nigeria and South Africa, together under one roof.

“Starting on January 15, we’re warning our audience to be ready for the largest takeover on TV. It promises a ton of South African swag, banter, romance, and everything in between in addition to plenty of Nigerian swag.

“After 72 days, votes cast by viewers in Africa will also be used to choose the winner.

The event will be webcast in 45 Sub-Saharan African nations as well as the UK, Ireland, and other countries, Ugbe noted.
