Why I visited Arsenal’s training ground — Guardiola. Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, claims to have visited the Arsenal practice facility once.
Pep disclosed that the visit took place before to the 2011 Champions League final between Barcelona and Manchester United.

“I’ve only been at Arsenal for one day, when they let us prepare to beat [Manchester] United in the Champions League [in 2011].
“I’ve only ever visited the Arsenal training facility once. Guardiola apologized to United in a press conference prior to their FA Cup match against Arsenal.
He said, “Yeah, they play with wingers higher than the midfielders like us, which is one of the distinctions between how City and Arsenal play.
“However, the entire technique, the process, together with the personality, the mindset, the set pieces, and a million other things, belongs to them.”
