Over the course of the week, the Seagulls rejected both of the Blues’ bids—one for £45 million and the second for £55 million.

The Ecuadorian international was quite clear before that he has no plans to leave Brighton and is committed to developing there.

“I’m concentrating on Brighton. Since I’m here and concentrated on this club, external issues don’t bother me and don’t detract from my present attention. Caicedo affirmed

“I just attempt to concentrate on the club that provided the opportunity for me to play every week.

“This is me. I play every single day. I’m good at handling the conjecture. You occasionally hear rumors, but I simply try to concentrate on the club,” he said.

Caicedo has had a fantastic season thus far, and large teams have taken note of his outstanding ball play in Brighton’s midfield.

In the 2022–23 Premier League Season, he has made 18 appearances in a short period of time with a goal and an assist.
