UCL It’s the end – Thierry Henry reacts to Real Madrid’s 5-2 win over Liverpool. Liverpool are nearing the end of an era, according to legendary Arsenal player Thierry Henry.

Henry was speaking on CBS Sport after Jurgen Klopp’s team lost 5-2 to Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 on Tuesday after blowing a two-goal lead.

The Reds took the lead with to goals from Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, but the LaLiga champions cruised to victory thanks to braces from Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema and a thunderous header from Eder Militao.

Henry claims that he has been worried for a while about Liverpool’s defense and that the group is now too vulnerable.

“Sure, Alisson erred, but they did not save him. A large squad rescued Thibaut Courtois after he made a mistake.

They require some changes since they are vulnerable. Although I don’t believe Jurgen Klopp should be fired, several players are no longer at the level necessary to represent Liverpool. Even the finest can experience this; it did so to me. An era is coming to an end,” Henry stated.
