U-20 AFCON Flying Eagles thrash academy side in friendly. In a friendly match on Thursday at the Goal Project Football Pitch, the Flying Eagles destroyed Paul E-Sports Academy 5-0.
Ten minutes in, Emmanuel Justine gave the Flying Eagles the lead, and eight minutes before halftime, Ekpeyong Emmanuel doubled it.
With a helper from Abdulrahman Adam, energetic striker Obiakor Ifesinachi made it 3-0 in the 65th minute. The replacement then scored again in the 71st minute.
Ten minutes from time, Gbadamosi Umar added the sixth goal.
On Monday, Ladan Bosso’s team began preparing for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Abuja.
Egypt will host the U-20 AFCON from February 18 to March 12, 2023.
Africa will be represented by the top four teams in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
