In order to strengthen his midfield for the next season, Barcelona boss Xavi Hernández is reportedly eager to sign the France international.
Kante missed the recently finished Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup due to ailments, but it hasn’t prevented the Spanish La Liga heavyweights from rumored interest in him.
Although the 31-year-old star is seeking a third year, which is not forthcoming, Chelsea is allegedly putting forth a two-year contract extension for Kante.
