Steven Berghuis was born on 19th December 1991 to the family of Frank Berghuis in Apeldoom, Neitherlands. Steven Berghuis is a Dutch professional footballer. Steven Berghuis was born on 19th December 1991 to the family of Frank Berghuis in Apeldoom, Neitherlands. Steven Berghuis’s father was also a professional footballer, but his mother was not. Berghuis’s father retired as a footballer but during his football days, he represented Volendam, VVV-Venlo, and Cambuur, among other teams. Frank received one cap for Dutch football national team during his period as a footballer. Berghuis father also played for PSV and Galatasaray between the year 1984-2000.
Steven Berghuis didn’t grow up alone, he grew up alongside his only brother named Tristan Berghuis.
Berghuis’s brother was also a footballer but playing for Jong De Graafschap. They grew up playing with each other.

Berghuis started his youth academy at Vitesse in 2017 where he get more chance to explore his skills.
Berghuis played for WSV Apeldoorn, Go Ahead Eagles, and Twente Youth academy before joining a senior team of Twente in 2011.
In 2011 he signed for Twente, where he was called up for the first-team squad under manager Michel Preud’homme.
On 19 January 2011, Berghuis made his appearance in Eredivisie against Heracles.
On 26 July 2011-2012, Berghuis played his first UEFA Champions League gamesseason.After a contract extension with Twente that lasted uptill 2014.
On 20 January 2012, Berghuis joined VVV-Venlo from Twente as a loan player. His appearance for VVV-Venlo was against Feyenoord. On 18 February, Berghuis scored his first goal for VVV-Venlo which was netted over De Graafschap.
On 20 June 2012 until 2017, Steven Berghuis joined AZ Alkmaar. This athlete made his appearance on 23 August against Anzhi Makhachkala where he played 16 minutes in a 1-0 loss for AZ.
In the 2015 season, recently promoted English Premier League club Watford signed him from AZ on 27 July. It was an emotional farewell for him at the club’s management and its training ground.
Steven Berghuis misses out on many games for Watford due to injury, he played 11 games in the 2015-2016 season in Premier League. On 1 August 2016, After his spell in England, he was loaned to Feyenoord.
During his time at Feyenoord, he made a total number of 37 appearances where he scored a total number of seven (7) goals in all competitions. Steven Berghuis played an exceptional role when Feyenoord won Eredivisie for the first time since 1999.
