Spain Oshoala receives Spanish Iberdola Pichichi award. Asisat Oshoala of the Super Falcons, who finished as the top scorer in the Spanish Iberdrola previous season, has officially been given the Pichichi honor.
Oshoala contributed 20 goals to Barcelona Femeni’s championship-winning campaign last year.
Throughout the season, the 27-year-old made 19 league appearances.
The former Arsenal player and Madrid CFF’s Geyse da Silva Ferreira split the prize.
Brazilian Geyse, who joined the Blaugurana in the summer, is now her colleague at Barcelona.
First African to win the prize is Oshoala.
