Ronaldo 3 top EPL players to leave in January over game time

Ronaldo 3 top EPL players to leave in January over game time. Given that Manchester United just canceled the contract of striker Cristiano Ronaldo, the January 2023 winter transfer window may see a few high-profile transfers.

According to DAILY POST, the January transfer market will begin in earnest just after the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Numerous players who do well during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be in high demand from clubs.

Some more players could switch teams in January 2023 if they don’t get enough playing time during the current 2022–2023 season.

The DAILY POST examines five prominent Premier League players who may choose to switch teams in January since their club managers haven’t given them much playing time thus far this season.

Arturo Melo

Melo left Juventus for Liverpool in the summer on a loan with the possibility of a permanent transfer.

Despite the excitement surrounding his move to the Premier League, the 26-year-old hasn’t been Jurgen Klopp’s team’s regular starter.

Melo was only allowed to play as a substitute against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League this year.

The former Barcelona midfielder is now recovering from an injury that will prevent him from competing in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

If he makes a comeback before the conclusion of the January transfer window in 2023, he could look to play regularly somewhere other than Liverpool.

Deniz Zakaria

Zakaria is another Premier League player whose loan experience has gone quite smoothly.

On the last day, Zakaria transferred from Juventus to Chelsea on loan.

His summer transfer to the Premier League was met with great hopes.

However, because to his limited playing time under Blues boss Graham Potter, very little has been seen of Zakaria in terms of what he can give Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel, a former Chelsea manager, also passed on the Swiss international.

This season, the 25-year-old Chelsea player has yet to play a minute of Premier League game.

Zakari may end his poor loan assignment by January, though, if things don’t get better.

Hakim Ziyech

During the summer transfer window, Ziyech was one of the few Chelsea players that was expected to depart Stamford Bridge.

The winger’s move, however, never happened.

This year at Chelsea, the Moroccan international has had an extremely difficult time getting into games.

For Chelsea this season, the 29-year-old has been limited to fewer than 300 minutes of playing time.

The former Ajax great is currently lower on Chelsea manager Graham Potter’s list of preferred strikers.

Ziyech may quit the west London club by January if things do not get better, similar to Zakari, in an effort to earn consistent playing time should appropriate offers come his way.
