Edith Agoye’s side played out a 1-1 draw against Remo Stars in their matchday three tie at the ongoing Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs on Wednesday.
The Owena Waves have recorded two draws and a defeat in the playoffs
Abe said the players will continue to improve on their performance as they enter the crucial stage of the playoff.
“Everyone expected us to be the weakest team in the playoffs but we are turning the table with our performance,” Abe told DAILY POST at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
“You can see our comeback performance against Remo Stars, we really showed character and hunger throughout.
“We will continue to work more on ourselves as the playoff enters its crucial stage.”
Sunshine Stars will lock horns with Enyimba on Friday.
