Martinez speaks on Cristiano Ronaldo’s future in Portugal team after taking over from Santos. Regarding Cristiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr, Portugal’s new manager Roberto Martinez has come clean.
Martinez was officially named the new manager of Portugal on Monday, taking over for Fernando Santos.
Immediately following the World Cup, he lost his job as manager of Belgium.
Now that Martinez has spoken out about Ronaldo, he claims the player has not yet met him.
“Decisions must be taken on the field of play. Starting today, I want to meet everyone.
He said, “Cristiano is on that list; he served the national team for 19 years and deserves respect; let’s discuss.”
