Man City defender Cancelo joins Bayern on loan . Joao Cancelo, a Portuguese international, has transferred from Manchester City of England to Bayern Munich on loan with a €70 million purchase option.
He has passed his physical, and the club’s official Twitter account has declared that he is now a member of Bayern.
Cancelo stated that he was angry with the City supporters because they had been harshly critical of him ever since he returned from the World Cup with Portugal.

Cancelo was allegedly upset with City because he was supposed to start against Arsenal in the FA Cup match but was instead utilized as a substitute.
After the match against the Gunners, a City staff member said that Cancelo had been acting negatively in the locker room, had totally ignored the tactical briefings, and had not been following Pep Guardiola’s and the staff’s instructions.
