Pique, meanwhile, was sent off while still on the bench following a first-half altercation with the official.
When Lewandowski was dismissed, Barca was down 1-0 against Osasuna. But despite being down a man, Pedri leveled the score for the visitors.
Raphinha’s looping header later gave Xavi Hernandez’s team the victory and increased their LaLiga advantage over Real Madrid to five points.
Without respect to Madrid’s outcome against Cadiz on Thursday, Barcelona will remain in top place throughout the World Cup break as a result of the result.
