I suddenly lost my sight – Veteran actress Maureen Okpoko cries out. Veteran Nollywood actress Maureen Okpoko has fervently pleaded with Nigerians to help her after she unexpectedly lost her sight.
The actress said she required immediate medical treatment or she would entirely lose her sight in the conversation, which went viral on the internet.
The ill actress claimed that she needed to contact Nigerians because she needed money to pay for treatment for blindness and vision impairment.
Living with eyesight loss has been difficult, but she said, “I’m thankful to God for the gift of life. I abruptly lost my sight, so I either can’t see anymore or can’t see right now.
“I’m looking for your financial support. I would really appreciate it if you could all help me. It has not been an easy trip for me, but I am grateful for the gift of life, therefore I also need your prayers and words of support. Thank you everyone.
In several Nigerian television programs, including Baby Oku, Red Scorpion, Clinic Matters, University Mafias, Sorrowful, Dear Mother, and others, Okpoko has made appearances.
The 62-year-old Nollywood actress, who was born in Anambra, has also appeared in a number of movies, including Matured Games, Crazy Temper, Enemy of Light, The Banker, Wasted, Falling, One Room, Labour Room, and The Duplex.
