Heartland FC unveils new players ahead NNL season. In preparation for the 2023 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, Heartland Football Club of Owerri has introduced 17 new players.

Moreover, 10 players were moved from the junior team to the senior squad.

The two biggest names on the list are versatile talent Anthony Okemiiri from rival teams in Asia, Abia Warriors, and Tunde Franklin from Sunshine Stars.

Jeremiah Ndukwe, Edwin Nnaemeka, Onyekachi Okafor, Chukwujekwu Onuoha, and Fabian Omaka are a few of the newcomers.

In the 2021/22 season, The Naze Millionaires were demoted from the Nigeria Premier Football League to the NNL.

One of the household names in the domestic scene in Nigeria, Heartland, has won the NPFL title five times in the past.
