EPL World Cup will help them – Gallas names team to win Premier League title. William Gallas, a former defender for Arsenal, believes that the Gunners will defeat Manchester City to claim the Premier League championship this year.
Gallas thinks Mikel Arteta’s team may defeat Man City to win the Premier League during the next 2022 FIFA World Cup break.
After 13 games, Arsenal and Man City are at the top of the standings and appear to be the front-runners for the championship.
Gallas told Genting Casino, “I think the World Cup will assist Arsenal since they have a couple less international players who are travelling to the World Cup.
“Since you have to play in Qatar in the middle of the season, it will be really fascinating when you play in the World Cup. It will be quite warm, but returning to England after the World Cup will be challenging because of the significant contrast in preparation.
Because they are sending fewer players to the World Cup, Arsenal has a terrific chance, in my opinion. Thus, they must seize the chance.
Gallas said, “I hope Manchester City don’t win it [the Premier League].”
“I hope a London club takes home the league title. Arsenal must continue because they have a tremendous potential.
