The German was reminded by the Italian that Tottenham had denied the Reds the Premier League championship.
The German manager had criticized Tottenham last year after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool due to poor play.
For Liverpool, the tie was upsetting since it ultimately gave the championship to Manchester City.
Conte told reporters after Tottenham’s match against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, “Yeah, but remember, he lost the Premier League with this outcome.
“I recognized his annoyance. For these two points, they were knocked off the winning streak. However, with that tie, we instead qualified for the Champions League.
Conte asserted that it was common for coaches to criticize other clubs, particularly when those rivals had hindered them from accomplishing goals like winning the Premier League championship.
However, the Italian said that he was unconcerned since the German manager had apologized for his outburst and insisted that he knew how Klopp felt.
No issue for me. It may be quite challenging to regulate your emotions when you’re upset, he added.
