EPL I don’t understand, Havertz isn’t striker – Ikpeba questions Chelsea over Aubameyang. Victor Ikpeba, a former striker for AS Monaco, has questioned why Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a Chelsea striker, does not play for the Blues.
Ikpeba believes that Aubameyang and Kai Havertz should both play in the striker position for Chelsea.
When Chelsea were held to a scoreless draw by Fulham last Friday, with Aubameyang frozen out and Havertz starting as the striker, the former Super Eagles great made this statement.
“I have concerns and reservations. Ikpeba remarked on Monday Night Football, the magazine of SuperSport, “I don’t see why he doesn’t play for a team that has Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
“Kai Havertz isn’t a striker, with all due respect to him. He can perform in the wings.
“There is a great deal of disarray within the club. I consider the situation to be awful. I’m not sure how Chelsea will overcome their current issues to go on a winning streak.
