EPL He’s lost, frustrated under Potter – Micah Richards on Chelsea forward. Raheem Sterling, a striker for Manchester City, is allegedly lost and disillusioned under Chelsea manager Graham Potter, according to former Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

After leaving Manchester City after seven years, Sterling signed a £50 million transfer deal to Stamford Bridge.

The England international’s Chelsea tenure has gotten off to a slow start, with only five goals scored in 18 games in all competitions for Potter’s team.

Sterling, according to Richards, is still learning out how to play for Potter.

Richards told BBC Sport, “I still think extremely highly of Raheem, but he seems a bit confused.”

It appears as though he is a little disgruntled with Chelsea’s system and, tactically, is unsure of what they want him to accomplish.

“Raheem joined Chelsea, a prestigious club, and it appeared to be the best decision for him. We have all witnessed the turmoil that has ensued since they changed their management.

Sterling is not the only one who has to figure things out, said Richards. “The whole squad is still discovering out how they play under Potter.

“Using him in various roles hasn’t been helpful. The ideal position for him on the pitch is high and wide, particularly on the left.
