Shearer asserted on Amazon Prime Video that Man City can narrow the scoreboard difference with Arsenal.
They are a really talented squad, and we knew they wouldn’t be intimidated by the gap that was waiting for them before the game, he said.
“They’ve had it before, and I’m sure they’ll have something to say about closing it down.
“They must deliver, score goals, and act just like they did tonight.
“With De Bruyne and that man [Erling Haaland] up front, they have a wonderful opportunity,” the coach said. “They are not under pressure, they know exactly what they need to do, and I think they will accomplish it if they play like that.”
