Ethiopia has called up a squad of 25 players for their 2024 Olympic Games qualifying match against Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
The roster includes three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and eight strikers.
The Walya Ladies secured their spot in the qualifier against the Super Falcons by defeating Chad in the first round. The first leg of the competition will take place in Addis Ababa on October 25, while the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja will host the return fixture six days later.
The Super Falcons have faced challenges in qualifying for the past three editions of the Olympics and will be striving to change that outcome in this crucial qualifier.
