Renowned Nigerian musician, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, famously known as Kizz Daniel, has responded to reports of his alleged arrest in Ivory Coast, which has been making waves on the internet.
As per the latest updates from The City Forbes, the singer was purportedly detained in Ivory Coast following a controversy related to a $150,000 payment. It is claimed that Kizz Daniel declined to perform on stage on Thursday, October 12, 2023, after receiving the aforementioned sum.
Notably, just a day prior to the incident, Kizz Daniel shared a video on his social media, showcasing his preparations for a trip to Ivory Coast, revealing that the cost of the flight amounted to N40 million.
In response to these reports, Kizz Daniel issued a stern warning to the public through an Instagram story, stating, “Una don start again. This time, silence no go work.”
It is worth recalling that the artist faced a previous arrest in Tanzania in August 2022 for failing to make an appearance at a concert.
