President-Elect You got best of three evils – Seun Kuti to Nigerians. Popular Seun Kuti, a Nigerian afrobeat musician, has spoken out over the 2023 presidential election results.
The musician, who had previously claimed he was an idiot for supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, in 1999, said in a message uploaded on his Instagram page that Nigerians desired the lesser of three evils but ended up with the worst of the three.
“Perhaps you will have the sense to stop letting them control your life when you realize all your actors, musicians, politicians, business leaders, influencers, and comedians are using your support and resources to become American and British citizens, so their children don’t exist with yours,” Seun wrote. You want the least harmful of the three options, but you received the best.
