Vinicius Jr., the talented winger for Real Madrid, has acknowledged that he may not spend his entire career in Spain, owing to a promise he made to his father.
While he is on the verge of finalizing a new long-term contract with the La Liga giants, the Brazilian player revealed in an interview with L’Equipe that he envisions the possibility of returning to his homeland in the future.
He stated, “I think I could stay here my whole career. But the club of my life is Flamengo. I promised my father that I would come back one day. I have to keep this promise.”
Vinicius embarked on his professional journey with Flamengo, leaving the club at the age of 17 after just two seasons in the first team. His path led him to Real Madrid, where he faced initial challenges but eventually emerged as one of the prominent talents of his generation.
