Transfer Zambian club, Zesco United to sign Nigerian duo. Dennis Nya and Wasiu Jimoh, two players from Nigeria, are close to signing with Zesco United, a Zambian Premier League team.

On Wednesday (today), Nya and Jimoh are anticipated in Lusaka to complete the transfer.

Nya, a center defender, is moving from Akwa United to Zesco United in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The 26-year-old, who can also play as a midfielder, was a member of the 2013 United Arab Emirates World Cup-winning Nigeria U-17 team.

He will take the place of Sudanese defender Peter Manyang, who was let go by the team.

Jimoh, on the other side, is transferring from Kwara United, another NPFL team.

Zesco United took notice of the forward during this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

With Kwara United, who were eliminated from the tournament in the first round, he scored three goals in four games.
