Following the 19-year-spectacular old’s World Cup performance, Bellingham is being pursued by Owen’s previous club Liverpool.
Despite the Three Lions losing in the quarterfinals to the other teams, the youthful midfielder received praise for his efforts.
The former Manchester United striker acknowledged to Telegraph that he was mistaken about the player.
I initially thought, “Jeez Jude, you’re wasting energy covering too much territory because of your inexperience,” because he does nearly too much.
“I was mistaken; the more I watch him, the more I adore his style of play. Many individuals find it almost unfashionable to put in the long hours and perform the things that don’t garner a lot of acclaim until they achieve greatness, he added.
The 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund player is being pursued by Chelsea and Real Madrid as well.
