Transfer Genk chief, Conde confirms top clubs interested in Onuachu. Several teams have showed interest in acquiring Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, according to Genk manager Dimitri Conde.
When the transfer market reopens the following month, Genk will face a fierce battle to maintain hold of their star striker.
For the last two years, Onuachu has led the team in scoring.
33 goals were scored by the 28-year-old in 38 league games during the 2020–21 campaign.
He had a difficult injury season last year, but he still scored 21 goals in 35 appearances.
The large striker has now tallied 13 goals in 14 games this season for the Smurfs.
Conde was reported by Tipsbladet as saying, “I won’t deny there is interest in Onuachu here and there.
“However, nobody is willing to change. We wish to complete the magnificent project we are working on. This winter, we also don’t want to let anyone leave.
Onuachu had previously been connected to teams in the Premier League and LaLiga.
