Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, who is widely known as Portable, has stirred up controversy by engaging in a physical altercation with his show promoter in Italy over financial matters.
In a video that has gone viral, Portable can be seen expressing his anger and frustration towards the promoter for allegedly taking the money that was showered on him during his performance. Speaking in pidgin English, the visibly enraged artist not only accused the promoter of being untrustworthy but also threatened physical violence.
He exclaimed angrily, “This man is a bad man. Useless human being. This man took all the money sprayed on me in Italy. Oga, I will beat you here in Italy. I am a street man from Lagos. I will confront your actions without fear.”
In response, the promoter defended himself, asserting that the money collected during Portable’s performance was rightfully his. He stated, “The money sprayed on you belongs to me, and the money placed in your pocket is your own.”
This incident has attracted significant attention in the entertainment industry and on social media due to its public nature and the involvement of a popular artist.
