Davido, heartbroken by the recent passing of his son Ifeanyi, shared his feelings with his followers on social media today, June 18, 2023, as he remembers his beloved child on Father’s Day.
In a poignant post, he expressed that this day is particularly challenging for him, but he also expressed gratitude to God for giving him the strength to cope.
He went further to say, “Some days will be like this.” He concluded with a word of encouragement to himself stating, “Water full my eyes but I’ll be alright! forever.”
Davido is observing his first Father’s Day since the tragic loss of his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The young boy, aged three, sadly passed away in October 2022 due to a drowning accident at the singer’s Banana Island mansion while his parents were away in Ibadan.
Following the incident, Ifeanyi was swiftly transported to a hospital in Lekki, but was pronounced dead upon arrival. During this challenging period, our thoughts and prayers go out to Davido and his family.
