Tobechukwu Okoh, the renowned singer known as Peruzzi, has confidently asserted that he played a pivotal role in crafting two of Davido’s hit songs, ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Risky’.
Peruzzi, a prominent artist signed to Davido’s DMW record label, shared this claim in a video posted on Instagram, showcasing a freestyle session in the studio and highlighting his exceptional songwriting skills.
In the viral video, Peruzzi mentioned that he wasn’t physically present when he wrote ‘Unavailable,’ but the end result exceeded his expectations. He emphasized his prowess with words, stating, “Risky, but what did you expect when I wrote Risky? Let us delve into pen game discussions; I let my pen game speak for itself, even when I am in high spirits. My pen game remains consistently strong. When I composed ‘Unavailable,’ I was still unavailable, but I delivered the song, and the outcome was truly remarkable.”
‘Unavailable’ is a track featured on Davido’s latest and fourth studio album titled ‘Timeless,’ while ‘Risky,’ a collaboration with Jamaican singer Popcaan, was released in 2019.
