Obioma, Odigie win NPFL Player, Coach of the Month award. Chukwuemeka Obioma of Enyimba has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League’s February Player of the Month.

Obioma scored four goals in the month, including two goals at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba against the Shooting Stars.

With seven goals, the striker now leads the NPFL in scoring.

He won the prize ahead of Amas Obasogie, Robert Mizo, Joseph Atule, Osarenkhoe Imade, and Uche Collins.

Coach of the Month was awarded to Monday Odigie, head coach of Bendel Insurance.

The former Golden Eaglets coach will receive the honor a second time this year.

In their five encounters last month, Insurance took three victories and two draws.

The only NPFL team without a loss so far this year is the Benin Arsenals.
