NPFL Doma United keen to keep key players from top clubs. Akinade Onigbinde, the head coach of Doma United, is adamant about protecting his star players from the grasp of elite teams in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Gombe-based team, which is making its NPFL debut, has done well despite having a small budget.
Several of their athletes have drawn attention and are being watched by the big wigs.
According to Onigbinde, “We are not prepared to sell any of our important players at this time.”
We’ve read that some of our players are being pursued, but I can tell you that they’ll stick around for the whole season.
Doma United is currently ranked sixth in NPFL Group B.
